Lauren Johnson

Account Executive

Before joining LS2group, Lauren worked as a reporter in Joplin, Missouri, and Des Moines, Iowa where she cultivated her skills as a storyteller and creative. As a journalist, she covered politics, crime, education, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Known for her professionalism and authenticity, she earned the trust of community members and leaders alike by creating space for them to share meaningful stories that highlight real impact.

Additionally, Lauren worked at Iowa State University as a communications specialist at the College of Design. There, she developed and implemented strategy for press releases, feature stories, and social media. She also spearheaded the launch of the first podcast for the ISU College of Design.

Lauren graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism and a minor in public relations.

Lauren enjoys spending time with family und her dachshund, Leo. Her hobbies include running, testing new recipes, und trying out local restaurants.
