Thomas Bean specializes in public relations, public affairs, and grassroots issue advocacy.

Throughout his career at LS2group, Thomas has worked with clients across several industries and advocated for political issues at the local, state, and federal levels.

These industries and issues include agriculture and fertilizer production; renewable energy including wind and solar; ethanol and carbon sequestration; healthcare including prescription drug prices, federal permitting reform, and federal land transfers.

Before joining LS2group, Thomas was an intern for the LS2group government affairs team during the summer of 2020. Thomas assisted the government affairs team during the special legislative session and worked with the team to meet client expectations across multiple industries.

Thomas also has experience within the small business industry, as he worked for and helped manage a small startup in Cedar Rapids. Thomas was responsible for receiving and fulfilling customer orders and generating new business as the company navigated the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thomas Bean has attended both Truman State University and Mount Mercy University, where he studied political science, played collegiate soccer, and represented his team on the Council for Student-Athletes.
