Raya Hoppe specializes in public affairs and strategic political communication.

Before joining LS2group, Raya worked on state political campaigns, where she specialized in voter outreach and grassroots organizing. She later spent two years clerking at the Iowa Capitol, gaining firsthand experience with the legislative process, constituent relations, and public policy development. In 2025, Raya served as a marketing intern for the Iowa Lottery, where she helped coordinate events, support community partnerships, and execute statewide marketing initiatives.

Raya graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication. While at Drake, she worked with the Greater Des Moines Partnership doing policy research on issues impacting Iowa businesses and communities. Raya also held leadership roles across campus, including chair of Drake Democrats. Through these experiences, she developed a passion for civic engagement, public policy, and strategic political communication.

Raya grew up in Andover, Minnesota. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring local restaurants in Des Moines, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on Notre Dame sports teams.
