Colin Gorton specializes in public affairs and public relations.

Colin’s career at LS2group has included assisting clients with media relations, stakeholder engagement, and issue advocacy efforts across various industries at the county, state, and federal levels. This experience encompasses issues such as renewable energy, electric transmission, oil and gas, banking, captive insurance, tax, healthcare, immigration, tort reform, manufacturing, and more. Colin works hard to see through the noise and target unique and influential voices or media publications that others may have overlooked to win for his clients every time.

Before coming to LS2group, Colin worked as a legislative correspondent in Sen. Chuck Grassley’s Washington, D.C. office. While working for Sen. Grassley, he responded to constituent messages about policy issues such as banking, housing, taxation, spending, cryptocurrency, and retirement policy.

Colin is a native Iowan and grew up in Marion. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in international relations. Outside of work, Colin enjoys spending time with friends and family.
