Jessica Avianeda

Jessica Avianeda specializes in analytical research, strategic political communications, and community engagement.

Before joining the team at LS2group, Jessica interned for Iowa Legal Aid’s Farmworker Rights Project, where she was responsible for providing legal assistance and coordinating outreach to Iowa’s farmworker community. At the same time, Jessica clerked in the Iowa House of Representatives during the 2024 and 2025 Legislative Sessions where she gained valuable insights into the world of legislative affairs, constituent services and communications.

Jessica graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and a minor in medical Spanish. While at Drake, she held numerous leadership roles in multicultural organizations and student government. Jessica also volunteered as a Spanish translator for Des Moines Public Schools and continues to translate in her free time.

Jessica grew up in Edgewood, Iowa. Outside of work she enjoys trying new foods, traveling the world, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
